North Branford, Conn. - A New Haven woman is facing charges after she allegedly assaulted a 12-year old girl because she was looking at her 30-year-old boyfriend.24-year old Candace Kiley was arrested today and has been charged with assault, disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a minor.
The incident happened at a family birthday party in North Branford. Kiley allegedly accused the girl of looking at her 30-year old boyfriend, grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the floor.
The assault finally stopped when other family members broke it up.
The girl sustained a head injury and had a subsequent asthma attack.
